Michael J. Dawson (B.A. 2002, Journalism, Spanish) and Jennifer M. (Jones) Dawson (B.S. 2002, Elementary Education) were married on July 23, 2005, in Bellefonte, Pa., and reside in State College, Pa. ... Michael works for the Department of Geography at Penn State after working for five years in the newspaper industry and having won three Keystone Press awards. Jennifer is a second-grade teacher at Miles Township Elementary School in the Penns Valley Area School District, where she has worked for four years. She previously worked in the Prince William County, Va., public school system from 2003-2005. ... Michael and Jennifer are the proud parents of a daughter, Lauren Grace, born April 23, 2008.
